One of my favourite ways to capture portraits is to meet on the side of a road, beside a seemingly non-descript field and make art. It can’t be just any field. But one that I’ve constantly driven by and pictured making portraits in. It’s always a bit wild and messy, either with a burned out couch or beside a run-down motel. These are how these portraits below were made. An amazing mother, woman, and talented photographer Karmen met me in a parking lot and we walked to this field. These remain some of my favourite motherhood portraits ever made. I hope you enjoy them as well.
